Studio Newborn Sessions
Studio newborn sessions are offered year round and take place in my cozy, fully stocked studio. Everything you need is provided, including a curated collection of wraps, props, bonnets, headbands, and outfits. Before your session, we will go over all the details and your vision through a pre session questionnaire or direct communication so your baby’s session is thoughtfully planned and customized.
During the session, you are welcome to relax while I gently photograph your baby. Your little one will always remain within your sight, and each session includes a variety of setups designed just for you. Multiple package options are available, including selections that include parents and siblings.
Newborn sessions are booked based on a limited number of due dates per month. Once you know your due date, I recommend filling out the contact form to reserve your spot.
Monochromatic Micro
These sessions are all about keeping things simple and timeless. Parents get to choose a single color that will be used throughout the session, creating a cohesive and beautiful look. With soft tones and minimal props, the focus stays on your baby’s tiny features and sweet expressions, resulting in clean, cozy images that feel calm, classic, and perfect for your home. Each session includes 3 fully edited images.
Wrapped Only
All Wrapped Newborn Sessions are perfect for parents who love a cozy, polished look. Your baby will be fully wrapped for the entire session, keeping them comfortable and settled. Parents can choose up to three cohesive colors to be used throughout the setups for a beautifully coordinated gallery. Each session includes 5 fully edited images. Parent poses may be added for a $50 add-on and include two additional images.
Essentials
This session includes at least two gentle table poses, three wrapped setups using props, and sweet close-up details like hands, feet, and hair. You’ll receive 10 fully edited images, and sessions can last up to three hours to allow plenty of time for feeding, diaper changes, and soothing your baby as needed. A family add-on is also available if you’d like to be included in a few images.
Deluxe
This signature newborn session is a full, in-studio experience designed for parents who want it all. Sessions last 2 to 4.5 hours, allowing plenty of time for table posing, thoughtfully styled container setups, sweet macro details, and expressive images while baby is awake. Styled family portraits are also included for a complete, well-rounded gallery. This more-is-more experience includes 20 professionally edited images, capturing all the details and moments from your baby’s earliest days.
In Home and On Location Sessions
Designed to feel easy and unrushed, these in home and on location sessions focus on connection, emotion, and the simple moments that make this time so special.
Fresh 48
Fresh 48 Sessions are all about capturing your baby just as they are tiny new and only hours old. These sessions take place within the first 48 hours after birth in the hospital and focus on documenting the raw beautiful moments of those first days. Along with natural interactions and tiny details I also offer gentle guidance and simple posing to capture meaningful images of parents with their baby. There is no pressure or stress just calm honest images that tell the story of your baby’s very first hours together.
Lifestyle
Lifestyle Newborn Sessions take place in the comfort of your own home and focus on capturing real moments and connection. These sessions are relaxed and baby led with gentle guidance to create natural images of your family together. We’ll document snuggles, feeding moments, tiny details and the everyday love that makes this season so special resulting in authentic images that feel true to your life at home.
FAQ
When should I book my session?
It’s recommended to schedule your session early, as only a limited number of sessions are available each month, and spots fill quickly. For newborn sessions, booking during your second trimester is ideal to ensure availability.
Are props/accessories included in my newborn session?
All props, headbands, bonnets, outfits, layers, and blankets are included in your studio newborn session. These props are specifically made for professional newborn photographers by talented artist from across the world. I am constantly adding to my prop collection. However, I do not typically bring my props and/or accessories unless specifically requested prior to a lifestyle session.
What if my baby doesn't come on their due date (early/late)?
Since due dates are mostly an estimate, and birth can be unpredictable, I use your due date as a placeholder in my schedule. Once your sweet baby arrives I ask that you reach out to me as soon as possible so we can schedule your sessions within 7-14 days. Every birth is unique, so session dates and time are always flexible.
When/how will I receive my images?
Post-processing is the most time intensive part of your shoot, and so typically my session turnaround is about 2-3 weeks. Photos are delivered via digital download for instant access and easy sharing.
Do you offer payment plans?
Short answer; Yes!
Long answer; I do require a $50 retainer in order to reserve your session on my calendar and I am happy to create a payment plan that works with your family
Can I cancel/reschedule my session?
Yes. However, once booked all retainers are non refundable, as I am holding the date for you and turning away other clients.
