Why hire a photographer?

I'm more than just a portrait photographer.

Aside from this being my profession, I am also a mom, a daughter, a wife, and a sister. I try to put myself in your shoes and take the photos that I would want. I don't necessarily do strict posing, but I love a good family portrait. I like to get as many "in the moment" or candid photos as possible, but you'll still hear me give you some direction for the perfect position for the right lighting. During my sessions, I am putting myself in your shoes to better help me capture your beloved memories.

Get to Know Me

When I'm not behind the camera or editing, most of my time is spent with my precious baby girl, Wrynn, and my amazing husband, Colton. Both are truly blessings from above.
Motherhood is one of the hardest, yet beautiful jobs I have ever had. I love being my little girl's everything and how I can make her world all right when she feels like its all wrong.
My husband and I started out as Spanish study partners in college and the rest is history. He is the reason I got the courage to start photography.

Work with Me

Why photography?

I started to turn a curious interest to photography when I was a teenager. When phones began to have cameras in them, it was on. I took some senior photos for a boyfriend, I did a maternity shoot for a friend, and I even played around with cheap rings from Walmart to practice engagement pictures. However, I never thought I could be good enough to make a living doing something I considered to be a hobby.

This new chapter

As mentioned before, my sweet husband is the reason I started my photography business. Originally, I asked for a camera as a gift so that I could take amazing pictures of Wrynn and our family so that she could look back on them when she got older. I don't remember having a lot of pictures of myself as a kid, so I really wanted her to have that.

Fast forward to her being OVER me taking her picture all the time; I finally asked my sister-in-law if I could gift them with some newborn pictures of her latest child. I fell in love. I loved every second of that session and I just knew that I wanted to do this as a profession to not only have a creative outlet, but to also capture sweet moments in time that pass so fleetingly so

that others could reflect on them just like I did growing up looking at my family photo albums. My husband saw my excitement and eagerness. He told me I could do this; now here we are and I am loving getting to snap these precious moments in time for everyone in front of my camera.
